We may have a location for the Cyclefest

I have not confirmed it as yet,, but it is possible that we may be able to use the Tifton YMCA for the 1st Annual Southwest Georgia Cyclefest.We do need volunteers desperately, as we need to do some fundraisng to pay for the event. The SOWEGA Cyclefest will raise money for the Ride 2 Recovery, but the funds from the rider sign ups all go to them not to us, so we have to find other fundraising events to pay for the Cyclefest.To do these fundraisers and put on the event itself will take a lot of…See More

Tour de Tifton

Hi All,I did a radio show with Yale Leiden Friday morning where we talked about the first annual Tour de Tifton. My friend Bret Wagenhorst is leading up the event which should be a fantastic event. They will have several routes for riders of all abilities with good support and some real nice scenery around Tift County Georgia.The money raised will go to help underpriveledged children in the area. Southwest Georgia Cyclefest at Moultrie Georgia

A full scale family event starting with a 50K, 100K and 100 Mile bicycle ride.Held on Armed Forces Day and all proceeds go to help wounded members of our Armed Forces to recover from injuries sustaned while serving.Plan is for a full scale family event with things such as Bouncy house and balloons for the children, bicyce rides and runs for the adults, live music, and much more.See More

I spoke with Daniel, Caroline's Father on friday and it seemed Caroline had startertd getting better after some more hospitalization at TRMC in Tifton. We all thought she may go home soon and be back with her family. On Sunday she took another turn for the worse and was transferred to Augusta GA.
